Inderjeet Prasad Gautam, born on April 2, 1953, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds an L.L.B. in Law, a graduate degree in Hindi, and a postgraduate degree in Ancient History. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Collector, Secretary, Managing Director, Director (Finance), and Municipal Commissioner. Fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit, and Gujarati, he continues to serve in the IAS. Since May 1, 2025, he has been appointed as Chairman.
