Gujarat Government Orders Fresh IAS Reshuffle, Seven Officers Get New Roles

Sanjeev Kumar, IAS (RR:GJ:1998), Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, will now hold the additional charge of Managing Director, Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. (GNFC), Bharuch, until further orders, vice Rajkumar Beniwal. Meanwhile, Rajesh Manjhu, IAS (RR:GJ:2004), Revenue Inspection Commissioner and Ex-officio Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, has been transferred and appointed Superintendent of Stamps & Inspector General of Registration, Gandhinagar. 

Rajkumar Beniwal, IAS (RR:GJ:2004), Managing Director of GNFC, has been transferred and placed at the disposal of the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department for appointment as Surat Municipal Commissioner, relieving Tejas Parmar, IAS, of the additional charge. Jenu Devan, IAS (RR:GJ:2006), Secretary to Government, Finance Department (Expenditure), will additionally take charge as Revenue Inspection Commissioner and Ex-officio Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, vice Rajesh Manjhu. Remya Mohan Muthada(h), IAS (RR:GJ:2007), will hold additional charge of Secretary to Government, Housing & Nirmal Gujarat, Urban Development & Urban Housing Department, until further orders. 

The order also transfers Rachit Raj, IAS (RR:GJ:2014), Director of Scheduled Castes Welfare, Gandhinagar, as Director of Tribal Development, Gandhinagar, relieving Ashish Kumar, IAS, of the additional charge; Rachit Raj will continue to hold the additional charge of Director of Scheduled Castes Welfare. Harshil R. Meena, IAS (RR:GJ:2021), has been appointed District Development Officer, Mehsana, relieving P. B. Rathod, IAS, of the additional charge. The appointments and transfers have been issued in the name of the Governor of Gujarat.
