Over his career, he held multiple key positions including Principal Secretary, Secretary to Chief Minister, Managing Director, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Commissioner, Additional Managing Director, CEO, Director, Executive Director, and Officer on Special Duty to Minister. His most recent role was Principal Secretary in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, from 2 June 2015 to 13 September 2017. He served in the Department of NRI Affairs during his tenure.
