Rajiv Jalota, born on 29 September 1964, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Lucknow University and an M.A. in Public Policy & Management from Duke University. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Chairperson, Additional Chief Secretary, Sales Tax Commissioner, Commissioner, Managing Director, District Collector, Deputy Commissioner, and Assistant Collector. His most recent designation was Chairperson at Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT). He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
