Rajesh Aggarwal, born on 12 November 1966, is a 1989 batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Computer Systems. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Secretary, Additional Secretary & F A, Director General, Joint Secretary, Additional Chief Executive Officer, Director, Private Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, District Collector, Chief Executive Officer, and Assistant Collector. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, Rajesh Aggarwal currently serves as the Chief Secretary of Maharashtra since 1 December 2025. He continues to contribute to the Indian Administrative Service in his ongoing tenure.
