His educational background includes a B.Sc. (Hons) in Physics from Patna University, an MBA in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and a postgraduate degree in Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Throughout his career, he held various positions including Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, and District Collector.
