Dr. Praveen N Gedam, an IAS officer of the 2002 Maharashtra cadre, currently serves as the Divisional Commissioner at Nashik Division since May 31, 2024. Born on October 11, 1977, he holds an M.B.B.S. from Nagpur University and an M.P.H. from Harvard University. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Additional CEO Joint, Deputy CEO, PS to Minister, Commissioner, District Collector, Director, Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Commissioner, Assistant Collector, and IAS Probationer. He was awarded the Rajeev Gandhi Administrative Reforms Award (3rd Prize). Dr. Gedam is proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
