Naresh Pal Gangwar, born on 21 October 1970, is a 1994 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication from the University of Roorkee, an M.Tech. in Communication from IIT Delhi, and an M.A. in Economics from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying (MoFAHD) in New Delhi since 22 August 2025. His past roles include Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, District Collector and District Magistrate, among others. He is proficient in English
