Dr. Manoj Govil, born on 20 March 1969, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur, a Master’s in Public Policy, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University. Currently, he serves as Secretary (Coordination) in the Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India, a position he assumed on 18 April 2025. His previous roles include Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Director, Commissioner & Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, and Project Coordinator. Dr. Govil is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
