K G Shantharam, born on 31 May 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2010 batch, Karnataka cadre. During his service, he held key positions including Deputy Commissioner at Bagalkot, Karnataka, starting from 12 December 2017. He also served as Chief Executive Officer and Additional Director. His departmental experience includes the Land Revenue Department as Director of Census Operations. Throughout his career, Shantharam contributed to various administrative roles within the Karnataka cadre before retiring from the IAS.
