Hemant Kumar Sinha, born on 14 July 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Zoology. Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Managing Director, Commissioner, Director, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Special Secretary, and Principal Secretary. His most recent role was Additional Chief Secretary in the Sports and Youth Affairs Department, starting from 23 December 2014. Throughout his tenure, he contributed to multiple departments within the Tamil Nadu government before retiring from service.
