Dinesh Kumar Jain, born on January 25, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Maharashtra cadre. He held the position of Chief Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra. His educational qualifications include a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA in Business Administration, and a PG Diploma in Human Resource Management. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities such as Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Programme Director, Director, Private Secretary, Deputy Secretary, CEO, Deputy Commissioner, and SDO. He received recognition for his work on the National Panchayat Portal and Quality Management Systems in Zila Parishads under the Ministry of Panchayati Raj and the Government of Maharashtra.
