He holds a graduate degree in English Literature, along with postgraduate qualifications in Law and Political Science. Throughout his career, Kolte served in various capacities including Director, Deputy Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Controller, CEO, Additional Collector, Assistant Commissioner, Junior Scale officer, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Commissioner at Mumbai, Maharashtra. His extensive experience spans multiple administrative roles within the state government.
