Atul Kumar Tiwari, born on June 5, 1965, is a 1990 batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre. He holds an LL.B., P.G., and M.Phil. from Birmingham University. Currently serving as Secretary at the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, New Delhi (since September 15, 2022), he has held numerous key positions including Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Deputy Commissioner. His extensive experience spans various administrative roles. He has been recognized by The Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
