Arvind Shrivastava, born on 16 January 1971, is a 1994 batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and M.A. from Karnataka University, and an M.Sc. from the University of London. Currently serving as Secretary in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance since 18 April 2025, he has held various positions including Assistant Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Development Officer, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Additional Secretary. He has received the Chevening Fellowship Award and the Emerging Leaders Fellowship from the Australia India Institute, Melbourne University. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
