Vibhu Nayar, born on 24 October 1965, is a 1990 batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, and an M.Tech. in Applied Mechanics from IIT Delhi. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Department of Tribal Affairs, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, New Delhi (since 1 December 2023).
