Savin Bansal, born on 23 August 1984, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2009 batch from the Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a B.Tech. from NIT Kurukshetra and a Master’s degree from University College London. Currently, he serves as the District Magistrate of Dehradun since September 2024. His past roles include Additional Secretary, District Collector, Director, Chief Development Officer, and Joint Magistrate. He has received multiple awards, including the Honble State Governor award (2012), Commonwealth Shared Scholarships (2021-22), and was nominated by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission for CPA UK 2022. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
