Sanjay J Khandare, born on 06/02/1968, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1996 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and M.Tech. from NITIE Mumbai. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary in the Tourism Department of Maharashtra since 28/10/2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Additional Commissioner, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Municipal Commissioner, Private Secretary, Member Secretary, Joint Chief Executive Officer, District Collector, Managing Director, CEO, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi and continues to serve in the IAS.
