Kailash Chand Gupta, born on 10 August 1967, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering from Barkatulla University, Bhopal, and an M.Tech. in Soil Science from IIT Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Cottage and Rural Industries Department, Madhya Pradesh, a position he assumed on 24 July 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to Government, Labour Commissioner, Managing Director, Commissioner, District Collector, and Additional Chief Secretary to Governor. He is proficient in Hindi.
