Gulshan Bamra, born on 10 May 1973, is a 1997 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.Tech. in Energy Studies and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering. Currently serving as Principal Secretary in the Department of Tribal Affairs since 12 November 2024, Bamra has held various positions including Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary, Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, District Collector and District Magistrate, Project Director, Deputy Secretary, Executive Director, CEO, SDO, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in Dogri, English, Hindi, and Punjabi and continues to serve in the IAS.
