Gaurav Goyal, born on January 5, 1984, is a 2006 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.Com degree from Delhi University. Currently serving as Joint Secretary at the Lok Sabha Secretariat, New Delhi since August 16, 2024, Goyal has held various key positions including Secretary to Government, Secretary to Chief Minister, Commissioner, Managing Director, District Collector and District Magistrate, and Divisional Commissioner. He has been recognized for excellence in election conduct, skill development, and effective implementation of government programs. Goyal is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
