He holds an M.Sc. degree and has held multiple positions as Additional Secretary. As of September 4, 2024, he serves as Additional Secretary in the Panchayati Raj Department. His past roles include District Magistrate and several tenures as Additional Secretary. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
