Yeluchuri Ratnakara Rao, born on 23 July 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree from Kakatipa University, Hyderabad. Currently serving as Secretary in the Non-Conventional and Renewable Energy Sources Department since 9 February 2021, Rao has held various administrative roles including Secretary, District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Executive Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector and Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Telugu and continues to serve in the IAS.
