Yashpal Garg, born on 14 November 1966, is a 2008 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre. He currently serves as Secretary at Delhi in the Planning Department since 16 February 2026. He holds an LL.B. in Law from the University of Delhi, an Inter of ICWA in Cost Accounting from ICWAI, and a B.Com. in Accountancy from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. His extensive career includes roles such as OSD to Chief Secretary, Commissioner, Secretary, CEO, Managing Director, Special Secretary, Executive Director, Special Commissioner, Director, Joint Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent, and Sales Tax Officer.
