Director(Census Operations), Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India
Yashoda Bhandari, an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2005 batch from the Sikkim cadre, was born on July 15, 1964. He holds a B.A. and an LL.B. degree. Currently serving as the Director (Census Operations) at the Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India since January 14, 2022, Bhandari has previously held positions including Director (Census Operations), Commissioner Cum Secretary, and Director. He continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration of census operations and other governmental functions.
