Yash Pal Kumar, born on October 4, 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Director Equivalent, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Additional Registrar, Executive Director, Managing Director, and Joint Registrar. His most recent appointment was as Divisional Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh from March 1, 1997, to October 31, 1997. He was associated with the Law and Justice Department during his service.
