Y P S Tomar, born on August 22, 1946, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1974 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Director General, Secretary, Managing Director, Member Secretary, Commissioner, Chairman, Director, Deputy Commissioner, District Collector, CEO, and SDO. His most recent designation was Commissioner at Maharashtra in the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. Mr. Tomar's extensive experience spans multiple leadership roles across administrative and developmental departments within the state government.
