Y J Dixit, born on 26 February 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds graduate degrees in Law and English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Director, Deputy Director, Deputy Collector, General Manager, and Officer on Special Duty to a Minister. His most recent position was Under Secretary in the General Administration Department (Personnel) of Gujarat, from 1 March 1990 to 1 February 1993.
