W R Reddy, born on June 1, 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Kerala cadre. He holds a Ph.D. in Genetics, a postgraduate degree in Genetics, and a graduate degree in Agriculture. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Project Director, Sub Collector, Managing Director, Development Commissioner, Member, Special Secretary, Director, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Principal Secretary of the Commercial Taxes Department, from January 6, 2015, to May 31, 2020.
