Vrinda Sarup, born on 27 December 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. She holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in History, along with a certificate in Development Administration. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, OSD to Minister, District Collector and Magistrate, Project Director, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Executive Magistrate, and Assistant Magistrate. Her most recent position was Secretary in the Consumer Affairs Department from 5 June 2015 to 31 December 2016.
