Currently, he serves as Chief Electoral Officer & Ex-Officio Secretary at the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, since 15 July 2024. His past roles include Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Member Secretary, Additional CEO, and Deputy Secretary. He has received multiple awards, including the National Award for e-Governance 2019-20 Jury Award and the Indian Express Excellence in Governance Awards. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
