Vivek Yadav, an IAS officer of the 2008 Andhra Pradesh cadre, currently serves as Chief Electoral Officer & Ex-Officio Secretary at the Election Commission of India, New Delhi since July 15, 2024. Born on December 13, 1981, he holds a B.Tech from KNIT and a PG Diploma from NLSIU Bangalore. His past roles include Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Member Secretary, Additional CEO, and Deputy Secretary. He has received multiple awards, including the National Award for e-Governance (2019-20 Jury Award) and the Indian Express Excellence in Governance Award.
