Vivek V Kulkarni, born on July 21, 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 Karnataka cadre. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering, he served in various capacities including Assistant Commissioner, Special Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner, Chairman and Managing Director, Director, Deputy Commissioner, Divisional Chief Deputy Secretary Equivalent, and Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary of the IT and Communication Department in Bangalore, Karnataka, from January 1, 2000, to October 27, 2003. Throughout his career, Kulkarni contributed to the administration of Karnataka state until his retirement.
