Vivek Pratap Singh, an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1996 batch from the Punjab cadre, was born on November 15, 1972. He holds a B.Tech. degree and is proficient in English and Hindi. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary to H.E. the Governor of Punjab, a position he has held since January 28, 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various key roles including Director, Principal Secretary to Government, Excise Commissioner, Chief Electoral Officer, Commissioner, Special Secretary, Chief Administrator, Deputy Commissioner, Registrar, Additional Managing Director, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate. He remains in active service.
