Vivek Kumar Singh, born on July 3, 1964, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 Bihar cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Physics. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Development Commissioner, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Managing Director, Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Labour Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Commissioner at the Revenue Board, Bihar, from January 2, 2023, to July 31, 2024. Singh’s extensive service reflects a broad administrative experience within the Bihar government.
