Vivek Kumar, born on December 8, 1987, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2016 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Delhi. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Magistrate and Collector, Assistant Secretary, Officer On Special Duty, Additional District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, and Chief Executive Officer. His most recent position was District Magistrate at Uttar Dinajpur, starting from March 19, 2026.
