Currently serving as Secretary at the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, New Delhi since 1 November 2023, Bhardwaj has held various positions including Officer on Special Duty, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Project Director, Special Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Magistrate, and Executive Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
