Vishwas Mehta, born on 19 February 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Kerala cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in Geology from Panjab University and a Diploma in Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University. Throughout his career, Mehta served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Deputy Secretary, Managing Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Administrator, Director, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Resident Commissioner, and Additional Chief Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Water Resources Department from 14 December 2018 to 28 February 2021.
