Vishesh Sarangal, born on 19 December 1984, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2013 batch, Punjab cadre. He holds a B.E. in Electronics from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology and an MBA in Management from IIT Bombay. Currently, he serves as Special Secretary & Director in the Department of Good Governance and Information Technology, Punjab, since 21 October 2025. His previous roles include Chief Administrator, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, and Assistant Secretary. He is proficient in English and Punjabi.
