Virendra Singh, born on 23 November 1974, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.Sc. from JNU New Delhi and an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Information Technology Department of Maharashtra, a position he has held since 28 October 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, District Collector, Chief Executive Officer, Project Officer, and Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
