Vinod Seshan, born on 18 May 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 Assam Meghalaya cadre. Currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas, New Delhi since March 2022, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka, a Master of Science from University College London, and a Master of Arts from IGNOU, Delhi. Proficient in English and Tamil, Vinod Seshan continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration and governance within his designated departments.
