Vinod Seshan, born on 18 May 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 Assam Meghalaya cadre. He holds a B.E. from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka, an M.Sc. from University College London, and an M.A. from IGNOU Delhi. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas, New Delhi, a position he has held since 9 March 2022. Vinod is proficient in English and Tamil. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
