Vinesh K Jairath, born on 27 December 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a graduate degree in History, an LL.B. in Law, and a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Municipal Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Special Secretary to Governor, Secretary to Governor, Managing Director, and Secretary. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the Department of Industries and Commerce, Maharashtra.
