Vineet Joshi, a 1992-batch IAS officer of the Manipur cadre, was born on 02/11/1968. He holds a B.Tech. from IIT Kanpur, an M.B.A. from IIFT, New Delhi, and a Ph.D. from IIFT, New Delhi. Currently serving as Secretary at the Higher Education Department, he is proficient in English and Hindi.
