Vimala R., born on June 1, 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, Maharashtra cadre. She holds an M.A. and M.Phil. from Pune University. Throughout her career, she has served in various capacities including Commissioner, Mission Director, Chief Executive Officer, Resident Commissioner, Collector & District Magistrate, State Project Director, and CEO. As of April 16, 2025, she is the Commissioner at Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi. Vimala R. continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to administrative functions within the Maharashtra cadre.
