Vimal Kumar Setia, born on 15 April 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2010 batch, serving in the Punjab cadre. He holds a Master of Arts degree. Currently, he is the Secretary at Punjab in the Department of Home Affairs, a position he has held since 22 January 2026. Throughout his career, Setia has held various roles including Registrar, State Transport Commissioner, Commissioner, Additional Registrar, and Registrar. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
