Vikram Kapur, born on 25 December 1965, is a 1988 batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics and is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary and Director at Chennai since 24 August 2023. He is associated with the Anna Administrative Staff College and Director General of Training. Throughout his career, Vikram Kapur has held various positions including Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Chairman, Member Secretary, Managing Director, Executive Director, Director, Additional Director, District Collector, and other administrative roles.
