Vikram Dev Dutt, born on 17 September 1969, is a 1993 batch IAS officer of the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Behaviour. Currently serving as Secretary in the Department of Coal since 21 October 2024, he has held various positions including Director General, Chairman & Managing Director, Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Labour Commissioner, and Managing Director. Fluent in English and Hindi, Vikram Dev Dutt continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to public administration across multiple roles throughout his career.
