Vikas Gothalwal, born on 18 February 1978, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2003 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Magistrate, District Magistrate, and District Collector. His most recent position was Joint Secretary, held from 1 January 2019 to 4 November 2022. Mr. Gothalwal’s tenure in the IAS reflects his commitment to public administration within the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
