Vikas Garg, born on 02 August 1970, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 Punjab cadre. He holds a B.E. and an M.Tech. degree. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Punjab, a position he has held since 3 March 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various key roles including Principal Secretary, Secretary, Finance Commissioner, Registrar, Director, Special Secretary, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
