Vijoy Kumar Singh, born on 15 November 1964, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1990 Punjab cadre batch. He holds a B.Sc. and an M.B.A. from Birmingham University. Currently serving as Secretary to the Government of India in the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence since 15 September 2022, Singh has held various key positions including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Chief Electoral Officer, and Finance Commissioner. He has been honored with the National Award by the Election Commission of India in 2017 and received multiple accolades for his contributions in election management and public service.
