Currently serving as Secretary to the Government of India in the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence since 15 September 2022, he has held various key positions including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Financial Adviser, Joint Secretary, Chief Electoral Officer, and Finance Commissioner.
