He holds a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee. During his career, he served in various capacities including Collector & District Magistrate and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Special Secretary to the Government at the National Capital Territory of Delhi, from 22 August 2022 to 31 May 2023.
